Article master

Article master data (price list/ catalogue) is a message sent by a vender (industry) to a buyer (retailer) containing details about the products offered.

Always up-to-date: PHONONET collects and verifies the product update messages from associated record companies. These gathered change notices are then provided to all connected retailers on a daily basis.

Competent: Article master data first attains to the PHONONET clearing centre. In order to ensure a constantly high quality of the data it is permantly checked by the central music editorial department there. Not until then retailers obtain the data for further use.

Search: The PHONONET client allows you to search the article master and the track data as well as to view cover artworks. External systems can be provided with article master data, track data and covers via EDI server or FTP upload.

Dispatch notification

Simplified goods receipt: By request PHONONET transfers the dispatch notification as a file for each delivery.

Digital Invoice

Digital Invoice: By using digital invoices on EDI basis between industry and retailers the processes in accountancy are simplified.

Order Service

Orders: Order documents created with the PHONONET client or with any in-house inventory management system are directly transferred to the PHONONET data centre and from there further to the respective distributor system without media conversion. This ensures a low-cost, fast and faultless order processing.

Simplification: Who provides which products? Record retailers no longer need to care for this! They can create an order list in the digital order book at almost every position within the programm by activating single items and chosing the desired quantity. This order list might then be sorted, completed or shortened and finally be converted by command to a concrete order. By this retailers always have a perfect survey of their orders.
The mapping to distributors happens automatically.

Reliability: Orders without annoying bugs. Numerous security measures ensure a reliable and faultless delivery of all orders. The enormous amount of orders processed via PHONONET every day are best evidence for our efforts here.

Returns processing

Returns applications can be created with the PHONONET client as well as with any in-house system and be transferred to the respective record company via the PHONONET clearing centre just like orders.

Returns approvals are transferred in return by the industry. With this the PHONONET client or PHONONET EDI server creates a returns sticker with which retailers can tag their returns delivery.
